Bachelor's or Master's degree from an
accredited institution

The MATSIL is a graduate degree designed
to provide training for persons whose career
goals require knowledge and skills for living
and working in intercultural settings. Only
students under appointment or
recommended for appointment by the IMB,
NAMB, or other Great Commission group may
be admitted to this program, and then only
with the approval of their missions agency.

Students must secure general admission to
Southern Seminary.
Application forms are
available to download at the SBTS website.
Candidates must have the approval/
recommendation of their supervisor in lieu of
other normal seminary application
requirements.

Students who have completed the minimum
of twenty hours of seminary studies for
appointment by the IMB may incorporate
into their programs of study those hours that
comply with the MATSIL degree
requirements. Students choosing this degree
should seek academic advisement from
within the Billy Graham School. Contact
